An In PersonIntimate Gathering of Minds
23-24 September 2025
Banbury, UK
And it all falls to you as the venue leader to have the solutions and strategies in a landscape changing at super speed. Whether you answer to trustees, to fellow directors, to investors or to family members, the buck stops with you when it comes to leading your team forwards with confidence and clarity.
But where do YOU go to to brainstorm - to sanity check, to learn, to benchmark? I know it can sometimes be a lonely place.
I invite you to join me for the first ever Wedding Venue Leaders Collective. The place for you to unmask and get genuine support and strategy to move forward with what matters.
This is brand new yet actually remarkably retro! Bringing wedding venue owners and senior team leaders together is something I’ve done many times over the past decade as a dedicated wedding venue consultant but it’s been a while.
Several of my long-term private clients have been making whispers of need here. Missing the togetherness that came with the biggest of shared problems, the global pandemic and the various support groups and communities that formed to allow venues to share. Those whispers have gotten louder and the voices more numerous and so here we are, I have created this event for you.

What is this event for wedding venues about?
Who is it for exactly?
A very carefully selected Collective of well-matched venues; it is incredibly important to me that I get the right fit of venues, be that with similar business models, similar ethics, goals and levels of experience of the wedding venue business. As such, spaces for The Wedding Venue Leaders Collective will be by application only.
This is so that each and every person joining me is matched to the suitability of the event overall. This will take on board a number of factors including venue style and geography to ensure we have a diverse collective with complimentary experiences to share with each other and support each other to grow.
This is most definitely an event for those ultimate decision makers at the helm of dedicated wedding venues or wedding-heavy venues.
It’s absolutely for you if you’re the business owner, founder or custodian and you’re a hands-on leader and director. You have a small team and also wear many hats. It’s also for you if you’re a General Manager with full budget responsibility leading a venue on behalf of an ownership team.
This is unapologetically not an event for more junior team members; there are many excellent events out there for them to learn, train and network and I highly recommend exploring those.

A dedicated venue-only and leader-only meeting of minds to support your business growth and continued success.
How will it work?
Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th September 2025
The event will be held in central England to make it accessible for venues across the UK to attend and to encourage a really diverse geographical mix.
We will start mid morning on Tuesday 23rd September (to allow travel same day for arrival) and run until 1pm on Wednesday 24th September. All meals and 1 night’s accommodation is included with extra nights accommodation available to book separately.
The programme will include a mix of guided and facilitated deep discussions, brainstorms and breakouts around certain identified topics of need as well as a small number of more classic info sharing/training topics led by myself and supported with one or two additional voices.

This is for you if…

Questions?
What sort of venue is this event for?
Variety is definitely the spice of life and I’m proud to serve a wide range of venues in my private consultancy and I intend this is reflected in this Collective. There are some themes though – in general this event will appeal to independent, exclusive-use wedding-heavy locations. That includes country houses and estates, barns and farms, tipi and outdoor venues. Locations with small but mighty teams with you at the head.
Why are the places limited?
Is this just for wedding venues?
What are the topics covered?
Can I bring my team?
What it’s not

The Wedding Venue Leaders Collective is the place to:
Gain from power of the Collective – it’s a safe space with genuine like-minded venue leaders to share how it really is (not the curated social media version) and move forwards from that.

Share your venue business experiences, challenges and problems and obtain proactive support– yes the wedding customer has changed, yes it’s affecting sales big-time
Listen and learn from others doing the same as you in other parts of the country
Share your experiences in guided open discussions – having an attitude of givers gain is essential
Enjoy an escape and a location change from your day-to-day venue – this is time to reset, to recharge away from the noise and responsibilities, to energise and to get inspired
Enjoy a little spoiling when for once you’re not the host – lovely nutritious and delicious meals, a relaxing dinner with a glass or two of wine if you fancy it! We know that often the conversations over a casual coffee or a late night drink are the most enlightening and this will be a container for exactly that.
I can't wait for you to join me.
