My signature service — known for over a decade — is my private consultancy, which includes an in-depth audit, a full-day site visit to your venue, comprehensive reporting, and ongoing remote support. This gives you tailored guidance, clear action points, and accountability to ensure meaningful, measurable results.

I typically work with independently owned UK venues with character, purpose and hands-on leadership — whether that’s the owner or a General Manager. Most of my clients are country estates, manor houses, farms, barns, and boutique hotel groups with a strong wedding focus. I work best with teams who are growth-minded, open to change, and committed to building a sustainable long-term wedding business.

Every project begins with a friendly Zoom or phone call to understand your venue, challenges and goals. I’ll outline the best approach, then follow up with a simple written proposal via email. We book a brief check-in call a week later to answer questions or confirm next steps. If you’re ready to move forward, you’ll receive a Consultancy Agreement and initial invoice for e-signature. Payment schedules vary depending on the project scope and are clearly set out in the proposal.

No. While most of my clients are already operating venues, I also support start-ups and early-stage venue projects. This includes viability assessments, business planning, customer journey mapping, launch plans and foundational strategy for new wedding ventures.

I began consulting in 2014, with my first client being the commercial team behind Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire. Since then, I’ve specialised exclusively in supporting wedding-focused venues across the UK and sometimes further afield.

I don’t make unrealistic promises about specific revenue numbers — results depend on how you and your team implement the strategies we create together. Your goals are unique: some venues want to increase sales, others want to elevate reputation, raise per-event fees, improve client quality or upskill their team.
That said, it’s common for venues to see a 10–20% uplift in sales alongside more intangible but powerful improvements: stronger team confidence, a deeper understanding of their client, and an openness to change and trends. We review goals and progress throughout our work together.

I love working on-site — whether for a consultancy day or a full-team workshop — because it creates the biggest impact and the strongest connection.
I also support many retained clients remotely and offer hybrid consultancy where needed. In addition, I provide pre-recorded training, supported by live 1:1 sessions. I'm based near Guildford, Surrey and regularly work across all parts of the UK but particularly Yorkshire, Cheshire, the Midlands, the Cotswolds and the South West.
