Building Your Wedding Venue Team, Wedding co-ordinator training
In today’s blog, I intend to give you a little personal insight into what my training events look and feel like and what you should hope to gain as an ambitious wedding venue.
The training series kicks off again (for the 3rd year) on 20th September and runs until 17th November with lots of options for helping your teams improve either the wedding volume you host or your wedding quality and spend.
You can go straight to the link here which gives you all the information.
Or this film covers some of the most popular questions asked by venues considering joining the training:
What can you hope to gain?
Insider information on my 14+ years experience as a business owner in the wedding industry, as an independent wedding planner working with discerning clients through the entire process in a vast range of venues and venue styles.
I share with you the tools to examine in detail your offering to refine it, giving you tips and techniques both in marketing and operationally to better serve your clients, be more relevant and ultimately increase your bookings and sales.
All my events are practical, with lots of “take aways” which are easy to implement and cost-effective.
Who is the training for?
No two groups I train are ever the same which I love.
I have a range of attendees on a typical training event. The roles include:
- Brand new wedding co-ordinator in a large hotel venue
- Venue owner/manager in a start up property
- Sales & Marketing Manager/Director
- Experienced wedding planner in an established venue
- Experienced events planner looking at launching weddings in their location
The diversity of the audience is part of the success of the One Day Intensive – we have lots of discussion, idea sharing and group working in a collaborative non-competitive environment.
What topics do we cover?
- Modern wedding trends which are venue-relevant
- Bridal psychology
- The customer journey
- Fresh marketing ideas and untapped ideas for wedding venues
- Supplier relationships & successful collaborations
- Wedding budgets
- And much more…
The one-day intensive is an action-packed day. My Bite-Sized workshops are reduced 2-hour sessions and ideal for a taster.
If you’re unsure which training option is right for you then do get in touch. I’ll happily talk through your situation, the options and see whether it’s a good fit for you.
In the meantime, here’s the link with all dates, locations and how to book. Click here.
Do be quick! Dates usually sell out and places are limited to 12 on the One-Day Intensive and 20 on the Bite-Sized Workshop.
I hope to see you and your team this autumn!
