Booking More Weddings At Your Venue

The smart venue needs to show they understand and can deliver a modern wedding. Keeping on top of wedding trends and offering up to date products and services is key to that. Whether it’s buying and supplying products “in-house” or making sure you have the right range of suppliers on your list who can help with hired in products on an event per event basis.

The film today highlights 6 key areas to focus on and incorporate into your venue offering; if you don’t already:

Lighting – uplighting units (wireless ones are great) to add a colour to key perimeter features of your venue spaces as darkness falls and the party gets started.

Bar units – couples want more than a clothed trestle table to bring their cocktail bars and personalised beverages to life!

Dance floors – mirrored, LED, black and white, white pealight and more, good dance floor suppliers are key.

Dining chairs – chivari chairs are a good versatile option but think of adding hire companies to your preferred supplier list who can bring in a range of dining chairs to a theme.

Tablescapes – couples are looking beyond the standard items and are more interested in personalising with coloured and textured linen, specialist glassware, charger plates, crockery and cutlery – do you have partners on your recommended list who can help you here?

Props – sculptures, giant hearts, Lit- up LOVE, Mr & Mrs Letters and post boxes – the trend for these continues – can you supply them?

Remember, beyond the obvious opportunity to make additional revenue by supplying these products to your couples, remember that you’re making your spaces look so much more exciting and engaging to future business and most importantly, delivering the kind of offering that help couples create the unique celebrations they’re seeking.
